The Tadano GR-750EXL is a purpose-built rough-terrain crane engineered for unpaved, uneven, and unstable ground conditions where all-terrain road cranes lose stability and city cranes cannot operate at all. Four oversized tyres with independent hydrostatic drive power through loose sand, compacted gravel, muddy pipeline corridors, and unfinished construction pads without requiring prepared road surfaces or hardstanding. This makes it the only crane in our fleet selected specifically for coastal utility rights-of-way, desert pipeline trenching corridors, and active earthworks sites across the Al Dhafra region where ground preparation has not yet been completed.

Ground conditions directly affect rough-terrain crane stability. Our engineers conduct ground bearing assessments on unpaved sites before every dispatch.

Best Uses for a 75-Ton Mobile Crane

  • Coastal pipeline corridor lifts on unprepared sandy ground
  • Pipe spool placement along active trenching routes
  • Marine staging yard equipment handling at Jebel Dhanna Port
  • Desert infrastructure projects where road access does not yet exist
  • Utility line construction across undeveloped terrain in Al Dhafra

Important: This crane requires lowbed trailer transport to site. Lowbed mobilisation within Al Dhannah is included in the hire rate.

75 Ton Rough Terrain Crane: FAQs

What to know before you book our Tadano GR-750EXL for an off-road lift.

AED 2,500 to AED 3,200 per 8-hour shift, including a certified operator, rigging gear, a ground review and insurance. Lowbed transport to your site is quoted with the hire.

A rough terrain (RT) crane sits on four large off-road tyres with all-wheel drive and a short wheelbase. It works on unprepared sand, gravel and earthworks where all-terrain road cranes need hardstanding.

Our Tadano GR-750EXL lifts 75 tons at minimum radius, with a 43 m boom, a 46.5 m maximum hook height, a 3–38 m working radius and 390 mm ground clearance on 29.5 R25 off-road tyres.

No. The GR-750EXL is not highway legal, so we move it on a lowbed trailer and offload it at your site.

When the ground is unpaved or soft, or when the lift needs more capacity at radius. At 10 m on a 12 m boom the 75-ton crane lifts 15.7 t, against 12.1 t for the 50-ton crane.
